My Background

Unlike many web designers whose background consists entirely of technical computer work, I offer a wealth of business experience in addition to 20 years of on-the-job computer experience. Because of my broad background in business and not-for-profit work, I can design a web site that is tailored to your organization.

It is true that "anyone can make a web site". But it is not true that anyone can make a professional looking and easy to use web site. You don't want a web site that is a "cookie cutter" site or looks "home made", but one that gives visitors a sense of what your business or organization is really about.

Briefly:

• I have been designing web sites since 1997 for individuals, small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and for several departments at Southern Oregon University.
• BA in Business Administration (1993) from North Central College, Naperville, IL.
• Graduate courses in computer science at Northern Illinois University and Southern Oregon University.
